We work to ensure that your placement at Waikato will be interesting, memorable and fun. 

There will be a wealth of opportunities to gain experience and skills.  Questions will be welcomed within a friendly and supportive learning environment.

You will be afforded exposure to complex surgery, decision making, multidisciplinary meetings and acute take.  We will work with you to set learning objectives and achieve your goals.  Students have the opportunity to undertake a research or audit project with the intention of presentation and peer reviewed publication of work.
